Amy Finkelstein is the John and Jennie S. MacDonald Professor of Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). A leading health economist, her research examines health insurance, health care markets, and the economics of public policy. Finkelstein has received numerous honors for her work, including the John Bates Clark Medal, and is the co-author of We've Got You Covered, a book exploring the economics of health insurance and universal coverage.
