James Hamilton

James D. Hamilton is the Robert F. Engle Professor of Economics at the University of California, San Diego. A leading macroeconomist and econometrician, his research focuses on business cycles, monetary policy, energy markets, and time series analysis. Hamilton is the author of the widely used graduate textbook Time Series Analysis and has received numerous honors for his research and teaching.
