Thomas Hazlett

Thomas W. Hazlett is the H.H. Macaulay Endowed Professor of Economics at Clemson University and a leading scholar of telecommunications, spectrum policy, and the economics of regulation. He previously served as a professor at George Mason University and was the chief economist of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Hazlett is the author of several influential books, including The Political Spectrum and The Rationality of U.S. Regulation, which explore how markets and institutions shape communications policy.
