Thomas Stratmann is a university professor of economics and law at George Mason University and a leading scholar of public choice, political economy, and health economics. His research examines voting behavior, campaign finance, legislative institutions, and the economics of public policy. Stratmann has published extensively in leading economics and political science journals and has served in numerous leadership roles within the Public Choice Society.
